Flower Show 2018
“The Annual Flower Show” on the Sabarmati Riverfront at Sardar Bridge is inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani. The Flower Show took place from 10 am to 9 pm from 30th December 2017 to 9th Jan 2018. Entry to the flower show was free of cost. The 2018 edition of the show was spread over an area of one lakh sq mt. Moreover, the show will be a display space for more than 750 species of flowers, plants, bonsai, vegetable plants and trees — with more than 50 of these species marking a debut at the show.”

On the occasion of the 57th Gujarat Sthapna Divas, a series of events were carried out on the riverfront to celebrate this historical day.

Live Band: “Meghdhanush”, a band popular in Hindi experimental rock/pop music played excellent music and fascinated the audience with its songs. Along with them, “Aahwan” a unique fusion music band performed at the event centre with their fusion music and Kathak Dance performance.
Sabarmati Food, Fun & Shopping Festival: A fun food and shopping festival was organized in the event centre wherein items such as handicrafts, clothes, electronics etc. along with scrumptious varieties of local and famous delicacies.

Open Air Movie: During Gujarat Gaurav Divas, thousands of film fans were gathered to enjoy “Airlift” and “Baby” movies on both the days.
Boat Race: For the first time in Ahmedabad, a boat race was organized behind NID from Ambedkar Bridge to Sardar Bridge. There were more than 30 different kinds of boats seen in this event like Kayaking, Rowing, Sailing, etc.

Fire Cracker Show: Vallabh Sadan was set ablaze with lights, colour and music as dazzling fireworks display thrilled the capacity crowds from Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Gaurav Daud: A running event was organized where high Quality Neon Light T-Shirts were provided to the registered runners for Gujarat Gaurav Daud on 30th April 2017 at Vallabh Sadan.
